What is Being?
To open into the awareness of being is to shift from the mind into the heart. It is a return to the oneness of all things—the Divine consciousness that you are, the quiet essence of your soul.
But how to begin?
It starts with a simple question. Where am I right now? In in my mind, or my body?
We live so much of life in our fast, chattering minds. We can spend entire days caught in loops of thought—planning, replaying, analyzing—rarely touching the deeper stillness beneath. Moments of presence come and go quickly, almost unnoticed.
This is where awareness enters.
You notice: Oh… I’ve been in my mind all morning. And in that noticing, something shifts. You pause. You breathe. You feel the breath moving in and out of your body, the quiet rhythm of life flowing through you. And in that moment space opens.
You notice the stillness. A calmness the mind cannot manufacture. It is always here, waiting beneath the noise.
Of course, the mind will return. It always does. But now, instead of being pulled into it, you can watch it. See your thoughts as clouds drifting across a vast sky. They come, they pass, they dissolve. And in the spaces between thoughts, between breaths, being reveals itself again.
Your awareness of being expands. You sense the infinite nature of who you are. Not as an idea, but as a felt experience.
The mind comes back online, and you gently choose again.
Back to the breath. Back to the heart. Back to this moment.
This is the practice. Not perfection—but returning. Again and again.
As you rest more deeply in the present, something within you widens. A sense of spaciousness opens, and you realize: I am not the thoughts.I am the space in which they arise.
Thoughts move through.
Emotions rise and fall.
But this space—this stillness—remains unchanged.
From here, you feel into a deeper current—an unbounded energy, a vast and quiet awareness that holds everything. This is the ground of your being. The limitless depth of your soul.
It feels like home.
Clear. Open. Eternal.
The Divine is not separate from you—it is within you, as you, and all around you. It is the essence of life itself.
Like a wave, you are both unique and ever-changing—rising, moving, expressing—and yet always part of the infinite ocean from which you come and to which you return.
In this remembering, a deeper truth emerges: There is a oneness to all things. A subtle thread that connects everything.
You may call it God. The Divine. Source. Consciousness.
It is the movement through all of life—the very essence of being.
In this moment, nothing is missing. All is here. All is within.
From this place, a quiet knowing arises: All is well. Even now. Even here.
Beneath the surface of everything, there is a steady stream of light, of love, moving through you.
You don’t have to reach for it.
You are already carried by it.
You move with it. You live through it.
Because that light is you.
